Project Information
Background:
The existing tanks at Gainsborough had no tank cleaning system and the client was seeking a low maintenance retrofit system with low operational costs.
Application:
Combined sewage/storm water rectangular storage tanks. In this case the tipping buckets had to be mounted on “A” frames to gain the height required to effectively flush the tanks, due to the physical constraints of the existing tanks.
Solution:
To design supply and install 6 No stainless steel tipping buckets and design and install 6 No A frame tipping bucket supports into existing tanks.
Performance:
Overcame the constraints of existing tanks and the tipping buckets effectively cleaned the tanks as required.
Data:
No of Tanks: 3
Depth: 5.8m
Width: 18m
Length: 73.15m
