Background:

The original storm tank system at Fort Cumberland is one of the oldest storm water storage tanks in the UK, capacity was being lost due to sediment build up and the lack of an efficient flushing system.

Application:

Combined sewage/storm water rectangular storage tanks.

Solution:

Design, supply, install, test and commission 4 No VacFlush™ systems consisting of sixteen flushing chambers each with its own diaphragm valve mounted just below the concrete roof slab.

Performance:

Effectively and automatically cleans the tank floor.
