Fluiteco Opera Depackaging System
Operation:
Waste is loaded or fed into the unit by a mechanical loader, screw or belt conveyor and first enters the receiving hopper. The material is broken up by the screw and conveyed into the separation chamber where forced air ventilation drives the organic fraction through the screen, whilst retaining the contaminants and discharging them to the waste receptor. The system does not require any process water, just a small supply for cleaning, ensuring that both the organic and inorganic outputs are dry. The organic fraction is typically around 15% dry solids content. The inorganic fraction usually has less than 1% of organic matter.
