Kombi-Skrub - Catalytic Iron Filters (CIF)
The CIF unit essentially protects and limits the load to the polishing scrubbing filter media thereby extending the life span of the media and minimising operational costs.

Operation
- Foul air is moistened and then passed downward through the CIF unit
- Air is passed through the two media beds and H2S is oxidised
- Two media beds prevent the media crushing during operation; generally the top media bed will need to be changed every five years as it take the majority of the load and both beds every ten years
- Contact time is approximately 12 seconds to achieve optimal removal efficiency
